Zildjian Brings The Steve Gadd Clinic Tour To The East Coast And Canada!

After drawing record-breaking crowds in the Midwest and the West Coast U.S. in 2005, Zildjian's Steve Gadd Clinic Tour will be covering key markets in Canada and the East Coast of the U.S. in June 2006. "Mission From Gadd 3" will be making eleven stops beginning in Toronto, Canada, and continuing all the way to Hallandale, FL.

"Mission From Gadd 3" will feature many of the same elements as the previous tours, including a self-contained tour bus, a unique Sales Event featuring special 'one-of-a-kind' Sound Lab Prototypes and factory selected cymbals from the Zildjian Vault with Zildjian Factory experts on-hand, limited edition Mission From Gadd t-shirts, autograph sessions with Steve and each day culminating with a rare clinic performance by the legendary Steve Gadd.

The "Mission From Gadd" tours marked Steve's return as a clinician after a 20-year absence from the scene. One of the most influential drummers of all time, Steve has been the driving force behind musicians such as Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Steely Dan, Chick Corea and countless others. Steve also received an honorary Doctorate of Music from Berklee College of Music and was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame in 2005.

Commented John DeChristopher, Zildjian's Vice President, Artist Relations & Event Marketing Worldwide, "Last year's "Mission From Gadd" tours were the biggest events ever to be presented at the retail level. Our objective was to present an event that provided the best possible experience for our dealers and Steve's many fans - something people would remember for the rest of their lives, and we accomplished that. This year's format will be much the same, but with an even greater emphasis on our Sound Lab Prototypes, which were a huge part of the success of last year's tours."

Steve commented, "I had a great time last year sharing my experiences with drummers and meeting some wonderful people. I'm looking forward to hitting the road with the Zildjian guys again."
